Best Book of the Year Award

Think back about what you read this past school year. What was the best book you read or had read aloud to you?

I have to say...the book The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman kept me on the edge of my seat! It was spooky and mysterious and funny all at the same time. I also loved Moxy Maxwell Does Not Love Stuart Little by  Peggy Gifford and Stuart Little by EB White.

  21. My favorite book this year was "Pictures of Hollis Woods", because Hollis has a very bright personality, but she doesn't notice it. She just puts on a tough girl attitude as she was moved from place to place. It was heart-wrenchimg, and I cried at the very end. I really do reccomend this book to students who are in the 4th and 5th grades. Mikayla B

  22. I loved Holis Woods too. it was sad but really touching and sweet at the same time. I usually don't like to read sadish books but Hollis Woods was an exeption. I cried at the end too, but in a happy way.
