It's Summer!

Isn't summer great? What is the first book you are planning to read as soon as vacation starts?

What's your favorite place to read?

My goal this summer is to finally finish reading the Harry Potter series! Can you believe I've only read the first three? I'm ashamed to admit it! Do you think I should go back and reread the first three books, or can I pick up with "Goblet of Fire"?

By far...my favorite reading spot is the hammock in my back yard.

Happy Reading!

I'm not sure what my summer reading list will include yet, but my favorite place to read is on our big white lounge chair on my back deck. I can watch the birds eat at the feeders while I read.

  55. I kind of want to read the Twilight series, but I'm not sure. Some of my friends have read them and said they were awesome. I dont know, what did everyone think of them?

    ReplyDelete
  56. I read the first 3/4 of the first Twilight book. I thought it was just ok....thats why I didn't finish it. That type of book just isn't my favorite genre, but I know how much people love those books, so they're worth a try!

  57. I had an awesome activity day and carolls games!! I am not going to be here next year, but I think a good place to do the reading station would be somme where quiet and where people can concentrate. Like some place away from all of the activities so that the kids dont get distracted! Also a really cool book that I like is "Matilda" The book is different from the movie!! I like them both, but the book has more detail, and spasific events that happen in the book. 4th graders going up to 5th would LOVE that book!! ( and movie) Sydney W.
