Emotions

I started thinking about something this morning: Why do people enjoy reading books that make them sad or scared? Tear-Jerker books are very popular and some people love reading books that make them cry! Thriller or horror books are one of the most popular genres; some people love books that give them nightmares! In general, we don't like feeling sad or scared, so why do we read these types of books on purpose?

  2. I don't know why people read books that make them scared or sad. I don't like being sad or scared so I don't read books like that. I like to read funny books, adventurous books, and mystery books. They excite me. I like asking myself questions like " Is she/he going to be ok?" " what's going to happen in the next book?" and stuff like that. So I guess I was kind of useless to the question but at least now you know what kind of books I like.
